Manhattan Language offers a variety of study options in all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our Standard Program includes both an Integrated Skills class and Speaking & Listening class. In Integrated Skills class, you will work on the grammar, reading and writing skills you need to advance to the next level. The Speaking & Listening class develops those skills through a combination of small group work and discussions.

HIGH INTERMEDIATE TOEFL & ACADEMIC SKILLS
For high intermediate-level students. Improve the reading, listening, writing and speaking skills needed to succeed both on the TOEFL test and in college.
Offered as part of the Early Morning Schedule.
* Class begins every Monday.
INTERMEDIATE TOEFL & ACADEMIC SKILLS
For intermediate-level students who intend to prepare for the TOEFL exam, but need to improve the four basic skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) before taking the TOEFL Test Preparation Program.
Offered as part of the Late Morning or Afternoon Schedules.
* Class begins every Monday.
If you are planning a trip to New York and would like to take classes in English, Manhattan Language invites you to enroll in our American English for Tourists Program. New students may begin from any Monday and we offer a choice of schedules. Classes include study of speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary. Elective options include Speaking & Pronunciation, Business English, English through Slang, English through Pop Music, English Through Film and TOEFL & Academic Skills.

Speaking & Pronunciation
Focus on clear speech and fluency. You will learn vocabulary and idioms while practicing your speaking and pronunciation skills.
Business English
For high-intermediate level students, this course focuses on all aspects of business English, including vocabulary, presentations, job interview skills, resume writing, and meetings. Learn business-related idioms and terms and improve your business writing skills.
English Through Pop Music
English Through Slang
English Through Film

Manhattan Language offers bonus classes for our students every Friday. Each week is another chance to use English and study something new. Learn about drawing, yoga, resume writing, job interview skills, hip-hop, New York City fashion and more.
